What's here?

Notes, registry items, and open-source work from Mukesh Singh — Staff Software Engineer working across Rust, TypeScript, Golang, and distributed systems.

Staff Software Engineer with a focus on systems, infrastructure, and developer tooling. Language-agnostic by nature — I've worked extensively in Rust, TypeScript, Go, Java, and Kotlin, and I pick whatever the problem calls for. Most of my deep work is in backend and platform engineering, with a strong interest in building AI-powered applications and agentic workflows that automate real development work.

I care about open source, well-designed APIs, and software that holds up at scale. Currently also exploring the Solana ecosystem.

Open Source

Shield

Shield is a self-hosted, open-source IAM / CIAM service inspired by Google's Zanzibar. It handles authentication, authorization, and fine-grained access control — built in Rust on the Tokio async runtime for teams that want full control over their auth infrastructure without vendor lock-in.

TypeSense UI

TypeSense UI is a UI layer for Typesense — the open-source, typo-tolerant search engine. Built to cut the boilerplate out of wiring up Typesense search into your application.

What's here?

Documentation for things I build and publish — reusable registry items, patterns, and utilities.
